About me..
In addition to my primary profession as a priest and hospital chaplain in the Church of Sweden for 20 years, I have spent more than 12 years specializing in psychotherapeutic treatment and family counseling, as well as in supervision with a focus on social work and healthcare. I received my education at the S:t Lukas Education Institute and Stockholm University. I also have extensive clinical experience in grief counseling, supported by my advanced training in therapeutic and psychosocial fields. I am also engaged as a lecturer within my areas of expertise.
My work is grounded in psychodynamic theory, with a focus on psychoanalytic perspectives, affect theory, attachment theory, and existential issues. I have extensive experience conducting various types of conversations, both on individual and group levels. I approach my professional assignments with this accumulated experience, integrated with a psychodynamic foundation. While my background as a priest is not prominent in my therapeutic work, the professional experience and ethics from that role naturally remain part of my personal and professional foundation.
“When I kept silent, my
bones grew old Through
my groaning all the day long.”
/ Psalm 32:3 NKJV
